John died in Galveston, Texas in 2006. John was a neurotic, alcoholic. His family wanted nothing to do with him....that withstanding, he was still my friend. Jon Hudson, Joe Sirna & I would do things together & John would tag along. I knew his 2 wives & he even lived with me for 2 months in 1974. He had no friends in the end. I did not even know that he came back to Texas until after he died & I was contacted by a mutual acquaintance.
I remember John as just being a nice guy and classmate. I had no knowledge of his mental issues back then. Sad to know now and hope is is now resting in peace.
I read so many good things about many of our classmates, it does bring one back to reality that some did not fare well despite our advantages........of course alcohol can take anybody on a downward course.... RIP John..........U will always seem Noble to many classmates.
Besides high school, I also went to grade school with John. Believe me he even had a very hard time in grade school. Barry said his parents didn't want to have anything to do with him....even in grade school they didn't have much to do with him. I'm sorry, John, I hope you rest in peace.
