I remember being friendly with Butch throughout our Shaker school experiences. But, it was during his last days that we bonded and spent time reminiscing about our lives past and present. I had been working as an architect at Studio Techne and our offices were at that time next to Brennon's Colony (Bar and Grill) on Lee Road at Silsby. I often would spend my breaks and afterhours at Brennon's having gotten to know so many of their employees. Late in life Butch had to take a special Compound Rx from the Lee-Silsby Compound Pharmacy across the street from Brennon's. He would always show up at Brennons and have a few drinks to drown his sorrow and I would often join him on those days. We also talked about my father's relationship with his father how our lives would interwine. I will carry these fond memories as long as I live. RIP, Butch.

Butch was my boyfriend throughout high school.  And Kenny Bondy was my first boyfriend in junior high.  It's sad to see these two reminders of their passing in one email.   Such a wake up call how precious our time here is.

Frank thank yoiu for posting about Butch, Kenny ad Mark. I went to Fernway with Kenny and spoke with him not too long before he passed. Butch and I were friends throughout high schooll as well I would have considered Mark Selker.

One of the uncomfortable things of coordinating a couple reunions is the research on classmates, finding too many that had passed some years earlier without recognition. These three did not go unnoticed at the time of their passing.

As Caren said and I agree, the list of classmates we have lost since graduation makes us aware of how precious our time is, and these classmates continue to be with us with our memories of each.
