Gale (Bunnie) Merckle, age 62, passed away September 10. Beloved wife of Robert; daughter of Virginia, and the late William Flickinger; sister of Hardy (Susan) Flickinger; and aunt to Matt Flickinger, Jessica (Doug) Slifko, Alisha (Seth) Perkins and Melissa (Seth) Hendershot.

Bunnie was a graduate of BGSU and co-owner of Electric Sweeper Service Company (ESSCO) until the family business was sold.

She was a friend to everyone she met and was a joy to be around. She enjoyed traveling the world, motorcycling the country with Bob and Hot Rodding with friends. Bunnie was a sports fan, an avid supporter of charities that help those less fortunate and the Cleveland Zoo.

The family suggests donations to the Hunger Network, 614 W. Superior Ave., Suite 744, Cleveland 44113.
