
SUSAN C. KIRSCHENBAUM GONZALEZ, devoted mother of Ari Paul Gonzalez; cherished daughter of David and Elise Kirschenbaum; dearest sister of Gail Bash (Brian), Amy Johnson (Jeffrey), Lynn Gross (Robert), Jo Cowan (Andrew) and Dan Kirschenbaum (Janet); loving aunt.
Former Clevelander, an art dealer, and travel agent, Susan died in Maui, Hawaii, on Aug. 1, 2002, at age 53.
A resident of Aspen, Colorado, Mrs. Gonzales founded Rocky Mountain Travel Adventures, specializing in bicycle tours through the Rockies. A worldwide traveler, she especially enjoyed visiting Spain, Bali, and France.
Although she moved away from Cleveland 30 years ago, Mrs. Gonzales frequently returned to her hometown. For a time, she also lived in New York. An excellent skier and dancer, she enjoyed performing the tango and dancing the flamenco. A former home health-care aide, Mrs. Gonzalez volunteered for the National Winter Games for children with cancer sponsored by Shining Stars Foundation. She was a graduate of Denver University.
