Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Reiches received her undergraduate and master's degrees from the University of Colorado. She was on the faculty of the University of Nevada at Las Vegas prior to moving to Columbus. She earned her PhD in Epidemiology from The Ohio State University. During her career, Dr. Reiches was employed as a Senior Research Scientist at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, as Director of Research at Riverside Methodist Hospitals, as head of NAR Projects, and as a Senior Research Scientist at Battelle Memorial Institute. Dr. Reiches was predeceased by her parents, Sol and Frances Engelman Reiches. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Stephanie.
