ALAN BACHRACH HIMMEL of Aurora., December 6, 1948 - April 5, 2017.
Beloved husband of Wanda (nee Martin); loving father of Rhoni Himmel-Justus, and Mark (Magdalena) Himmel; cherished grandfather of Megan, Jordyn, Jackson, Emma, and Leah; dear son of Hortense (nee Bachrach) and the late Leonard Himmel; brother of Diane Linick and the late Ellen Kulberg.
Memorial Services were held Saturday, April 8, 1PM at The Church In Aurora, 146 S. Chillicothe Rd., Aurora "In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Church In Aurora."

If this was Butch Himmel, and I believe it was, I can say he was a great friend in HS and a great guy to all who knew him. I regret that we lost touch, as it is difficult with our lives to maintain contact, but I will always remember the good times and fun times we had together....Rest in Peace my friend!!

Yes, Steve, this is Butchie. He was one of the first of the first friends I made when our family moved to Shaker in second grade. He and I were friends, his sister and mine were as well. It didn't hurt that we lived less than 100 yards apart.
