Henry Alvin Taylor

On October 24th, Henry Alvin Taylor Jr. (better known to those close to him as Hank) quietly slipped from the world leaving behind his loving wife, Monica L. Taylor, his three children Harmony Clark and her husband Ted Clark; Anita Lott and her husband Brian Lott; Henry Alvin Taylor III, and his granddaughter TeAnna Clark.; to be reunited with his father Henry Alvin Taylor Sr. (2014), mother Robbie Taylor (1991), and brother Robert Taylor (1994).

Born on December 19th 1948, Henry was a rare individual who enjoyed both Star Trek and Star Wars, classic cars and horror films. Henry was an avid reader of science fiction; his children fondly remember his vast collection of a variety of books as well as sharing a love of reading with his family. His easy going smile and personality lent well to his field in car sales.

His creative streak was evident by his love of drawing, and he also enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to a wide variety of music.

As both the child of an educator and a Shaker Heights High School graduate class of 1967 it was important his children benefit from the education the Shaker School system offered. Henry was a graduate of The Ohio State University.

Henry's children will always remember him fondly as a man who was unafraid to dream of a better life. He always encouraged them to take the time to eat that piece of cake and savor the sweet while you can. He had a soft spot in his heart for animals of all kinds.

The family requests in lieu of flowers a donation that be made in his memory at the ASPCA, your local senior community outreach program or Meals on Wheels.
